We’ve arrived at the abandoned village way down on the southern tip of the Italian mainland. And indeed, I can work with Jenny undisturbed here for nearly two hours. The village gives a charming melancholic impression, the air hangs heavy with the scent of decomposed cactus fruits between the dilapidated houses.
